Bye Afiq and Syaffiq

After 24hrs camp, I'm tired and restless. Attended Mr Ken church event and reach home at 11pm. In the morning, around 4am, nick called me. He told me that Afiq and Syaffiq died. They died in an accident. I'm still in full quality sleep mode. Thought he was trying to play a prank on me. In the morning when i woke up, i saw Ian, nick and coach message. I realize i was wrong. Knowing that i will be working at 12am, which clashes with the funeral. I intended to go down earlier to the funeral but not knowing the exact location. Waiting for reply but it was too late. I went to work but was upset as i won't be able to make it. Seriously, it really affect my mood.

Ian, thanks for your write up. I believe we were felt after reading it.

Best Of Friends 131109

Best Friends, they were known;
On the green field where tries are like flags flown.
One was a talented half-back and not afraid to call the shots.
He never gave up, always believes in himself,
and gained the respect from his mates and opposition alike.
The other was a lethal but yet humble winger,
and boy was he a hard-hitter for a fast guy.
Together they shared the same passion,

of a tragic accident you should not deserve and fend.

from friends and loved ones,
wondering if god had ever gave fate a chance
and let you not be robbed from a bright future.

May you go to a better place.

Went out with davin and ah seng today. Really being grateful to have the 2 of them when i am down. After having our dinner, we found a place near esplanade to settle ourselves down. We chat for like 3 hours and ya, thanks:)

Start to realize that sometimes, i didn't really care on how people feel. Doing things on my own way which i think it is right. This shouldn't be a way on how it should be done. I apologize if i'm giving you a hard time. Understand the problems and the workload you have, i'm nothing much compared to you. Stay strong.
Start to appreciate more on this quote " Do what you can where you are with what you have " I will continue to assist my friend because i know this is the only way to help so far.

Last week, i told Jel that i will be running for ESC next year. I felt that i should be responsible to pass down what i have learnt to others. However, something changed me. I will now consider if i were to run again.

This AY is a fruitful one for me. Mr Ken, Zi Jian, Ah seng and Eddie have been teaching me a lot. They guided me, advice me, assist me and impose me with some values which i am still trying to adapt(what they say is right anyway) Along the way, i have neglect something and let someone down. They put high hopes on me which i think i didn't really do well. Should have open my mind wide open to see and observe more.

I know that Ian and Glenn birthday is around the corner. I don't think i have the time to plan a birthday celebration party for them. Even though we hardly see each other, but i do know that the respect we have for each others, friendship we used to have doesn't change. Having E Guide, April Orientation, 3 to 4 L.I.F.E events coming up and nEbO youth exchange program coming up. My schedule getting more and more pack. I will do my best to everything. Last burn. The 2 of you will understand me. I know:)

Life in Cambodia totally changed. The Cambodian are really friendly but the life they have there is what i dont think they deserved. Most of them do not have a chance to study and even a proper place to live in. The students know how to treasure the food, lights and water which we usually don't. They appreciate every little things they have. I remember the last day in PKH, the students sang a few songs for us and taught us their tradition dance. They look so happy but deep in my heart, i do know that after graduated from PHK, they will have a hard time in Cambodia. Hard time finding job, even if they get a job, the salary received is gonna to be very little.
The following day, we left PKH. All the students sent us off, some standing outside their classroom and some just surrounded us. They told me not to forget them and remember to come back next time. Ya, i will be back if i can:) Love Cambodia
